Thanks for all the information. Unfortunately, I am currently away form
my dad's laptop which has TI card reader. I am not sure whether this bug
should be closed. Let the kernel team decide that. I just wanted to
point out that this seems to be very similar to my own bug (which again
might not be a bug as per your explanation :-) )
I recently upgraded my dad's laptop to feisty but didn't get enough time
to check memory stick support.
