Update - I tried several things to get this resolved, and finally had some success. A full cold reset of the system did work. This required disconnecting the power cord for several minutes, and then restarting the system under Ubuntu 10.10. This is effective until a system reboot.
I had best results after I disabled Network Manager, and manually configured the network interface. This was effective through a number of reboots, and several weeks time. Unfortunately, this motherboard is currently dedicated for another purpose, and is not available for testing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/672387 Title: No link on RTL8111D - also breaks link on Windows -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
