Danke für Ihre Bemühungen. Auch Paul van Genderen hat 2 Emails gesandt.
Bin 70 und tue mich etwas schwer. Der Fehler ist schon behoben und dürfte so
entstanden sein: Nach erfolgreicher Installation von Karmic hat mir Firefox
einige Plugins empfohlen, welche ich installiert habe. Dann ist
bei Openoffice nichts mehr gegangen.Das Löschen und Neuinstallieren von Open O.
ist auch nicht gegangen, da immer die Meldung kam, eine Funktion von Open O.
wäre noch aktiv (welche?). Habe alle Plugins von Firefox entfernt und dann das
Recovery-Programm gestartet. Damit war der Fehler behoben. Ubuntu ist nach
meiner Ansicht schon perfekt. Nochmals besten Dank
