I have a Asus N61J laptop, and am using the AR9285 driver. The laptop has dual-boot, and in Windows the wireless is stable, no downtime experienced so far. In Ubuntu, it will stay connected anywhere from a couple of minutes - up to a couple of hours - and then it just stops working. There's no sign in network manager that it has stopped working, I just notice that all network activity fails. Then I disconnect and reconnect, and it works again (for a while).
Please let me know if there's any more information I can contribute to get this fixed. It's annoying enough to make me want to boot into Windows - for network stability. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/660864 Title: Ubuntu 10.10 Atheros AR9285 Wireless disconnects ( atl1c ) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
