Thanks for taking your time to report this and making Ubuntu better!
I was unable to reproduce this, instead when I ran sudo apt-get install
gnome-mplayer it installed as expected. I'm running Ubuntu Natty alpha
2. Could you please upgrade to the latest version and check if this is
still an issue? Thanks in advance.
