Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xfce4-clipman-plugin

Warning: sorry, poor Ienglisch.

If there are bookmarks in a document (doc/odt) and you will copy this
part of your document by using your mouse-device, then OpenOffice writer
will crash directly. (I mean Word or Writer bookmarks in documents, not
URL's.)

The option to use Ctrl-A and Ctrl-C has the same result. Using the
OpenOffice-menu for copying has also the same result.

If you use the Navigator from Writer and you search/delete the code (like
__DdeLink__0_1688407536), then you can copy the whole document without
problems.
But that is not anytime an option to work-around this issue. Who will use first
Navigator to search "bookmarks in this file" if you've gotten a document from
others?

There is no crash if you delete the clipman-plugin from your panel and you work
with the simple copy/paste-clipboard.
There is also no OpenOffice-crash if you replace Clipman by Parcellite (also an
multi-copy-manager).

It's not a "crappy document"-thing, because the copy-order won't crash
if you copy other text in the same document without selecting the parts
where you see bookmarks. The copy/paste orders works fine if you copy
other lay-out codes (bold, TAB, color).

I tested also LibreOffice 3.3. There was an application-freeze and not such a
fast crash as in OpenOffice. You can minimize LibreOffice and work further with
other apps, but LibreOffice won't return into a normal mode or gives any
message.
If you use the close-option in your panel, you get a "busy, not responding"
message and so you can close LibreOffice.
