I've uninstalled courier-base since the upgrade problems. My mail solution at the moment is mutt connected to local directories that are synced via offlineimap.
I'm not sure if this will help now, but here are the commands you asked me to run: dagger ~/junk $ update-alternatives --list maildir.5 update-alternatives: warning: alternative /usr/share/man/man5/maildir.courier.5.gz (part of link group maildir.5) doesn't exist. Removing from list of alternatives. dagger ~/junk $ dpkg -S `update-alternatives --list maildir.5` update-alternatives: warning: alternative /usr/share/man/man5/maildir.courier.5.gz (part of link group maildir.5) doesn't exist. Removing from list of alternatives. dpkg-query: --search needs at least one file name pattern argument Use --help for help about querying packages; Use --license for copyright license and lack of warranty (GNU GPL). dagger ~/junk $ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/709557 Title: package courier-base 0.63.0-2.1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
