It also effects Debian 6.0/Squeeze stable (or atleast the version from a
few weeks ago when it was not released stable yet, but I think they
changed anything since then related to this). Here is the bugreport in

So it is either the kernel, kbd or console-setup which needs to be
fixed/changed or it is already fix somewhere upstream, because I also
don't have mouseemu installed.

I was kind of hoping there would be an easy fix. :-/
