Also I used a newer asus-laptop.c and not the standard one which comes
with the kernel. I downloaded the file from
http://git.iksaif.net/?p=acpi4asus.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/asus-
laptop for this specific hardware and followed the instructions at
http://dev.iksaif.net/projects/acpi4asus/wiki/Backport_module to load
it. Thanks to the guys at acpi4asus for their great work and support.
