  This package is in Ubuntu universe and builds for all architectures.

2. Rationale:
  This is a part of the Canonical uTouch stack providing gesture recognition 
for legacy applications and is part of the Canonical gesture strategy for 
Ubuntu.

3. Security:
  There are no known security issues with this package.
  * root, daemons, setuid/setgid? Yes: a daemon runs as the session user and 
can possibly inject keystrokes into running applications.  This daemon does not 
run as root or require setuid/setgid.
  * network activity? no

4. Quality assurance:
  * Package installation requires no configuration, and follows Debian policy 
regarding conffiles.
  * Upstream maintenance is active and Canonical is strongly committed.

5. UI standards:
  This package has no UI element.

6. Dependencies:-frame
  All build and binary dependencies are in Ubuntu main except for utouch-geis 
(MIR bug #619217).

7. Standards compliance:
  This package meets the FHS and Debian Policy standards.

8. Maintenance:
  This is a simple package and the Canonical uTouch team 
<https://launchpad.net/~utouch-team> will provide all maintenance.

9. Background information:
  This package provides a daemon that interprets multi-touch gestures as 
keystroke or pointer input to applications that do not support gestures 
natively, enabling them to integrate smoothly in to a gesture-oriented 
environment.
