Hello to All, I haven't had an issue with OpenOffice.org crashing in a very long time. I believe my problem was solved when I created a new user account that was not encrypted. On all of my computers that had the home folder encrypted, I had a problem with OOO crashing, but when the encryption was removed, the crashing stopped. I urge all of you that have this issue to just create a new user account without the home folder encrypted and hopefully that will solve the problem for you as well. Maybe one day Ubuntu and Oracle will come up with a work-a-round to this issue, but until then, I think you have to use OOO with an unencrypted home folder for it to operate without crashing.
