I have been trying to make a clean install of Natty Alpha 2 from the current daily iso's and have had a least three previous crashes from three different daily iso downloads.
My latest crash was from a download of the original Feb, 2 Alpha 2 Natty 32 bit iso. The crashes have occurred after choosing password and clicking forward, or during data transfer from other partitions. However, I have never chosen to transfer data, but my sda5 partition with Lucid 10.04 showed to be mounted and was not unmounted by by the installation attempt. I do have a working Natty 11.04 Alpha 1 partition working on my laptop, but have not updated it to Alpha 2 yet. Have tried the direct Install Ubuntu button & installation from Try Ubuntu desktop.. Neither choice worked for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684921 Title: Natty Installer Crashes -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
