Yes thanks, this worked for the Workstation (HP xw4600), but not for the
older (3 -5 years) Laptop - which bumped into this exact same issue.
Although, on the Laptop, removing xserver-xorg-video-nouveau allowed the
install to continue. However, it failed miserably at the end - cleanup
and restart. After restarting, many broken packages. I'll attempt to
document the problems in another bug.
