Kernel 2.6.38-3 (but the issue is in alla 2.6.38 versions) from kernel backport

Video drivers: nvidia-current, 270.18 from x-updates ppa
Linux 2.6.38 doesn't populate /sys/class/backlight/ so it is impossible
to change brightness. Brightness is low all the time.
