Binary package hint: compiz
Switch to a vt (ctrl-alt-f1) and back (ctrl-alt-f7). If you do it enough
times, it's sure to make the x session unusuable, or at least it does
here. Maybe it's the proprietary nvidia driver's fault.
Anyway, if you can get back to ctrl-alt-f1 you can kill compiz. If not,
you need to hard reboot.
