Binary package hint: mencoder
When creating a DVD from a divx file using DeVeDe (I tried with versions
2.9 and 2.12), the sound is pure noise. It happens both with the final
DVD and with the previews, so to check this is as easy as add a divx
video to DeVeDe and preview it.
The problem is in Mencoder 1.0 rc1, which is the one currently
distributed with Ubuntu Feisty, 7.04.
Current (as April 11, 2007) CVS version of Mencoder works fine.
