  How to reproduce bug:
  Create new SlideShow with Impress, and anywhere on slide put two words joined 
with non-breaking hyphen (Inserted through Insert → Formatting Mark → 
Non-breaking hyphen). Everything looks normal until try to view slideshow. 
Instead of two words joined with hyphen something strange is shown.
  
  $ lsb_release -rd
  Description:  Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
  Release:      10.10
  
  Also tried in lucid, the same problem.
  
  $ apt-cache policy openoffice.org
