Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

I opened gedit
I started writing a new file
I did File/Save As
I browsed to a folder and wrote a file name
I clicked Save

==> CRASH, and all the contents of the file lost.

I know this is difficult to diagnose without more information: I cannot
reproduce it systematically, it just happened once; it usually saves
without issues. Anyay, there mst be some log file where I can find a
crash dump or something, only I don't know where to look for it. Please
let me know so I can post it.
