I know that Natty Narwhal include the last update from debian who as fixed this
bug.
But why not include it as a bug fix in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" ? The Long
Term Support mean security fix and bug fix, isn't it ? (it's a real question, I
can't find answer : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LTS is unclear about bug fixing in
LTS).
At work we use only LTS version (and we use cutecom a lot for debugging
embedded device), it's the first time that we see a repeatable bug in ubuntu
software version so I was thinking that a bug fix is a solution.
Sorry for my poor english
