Sorry, I have still not found a reproducable way to trigger this. I do have a new, small udf partition to test on (to lessen the chance I ruin my normal data), and dd | gzip copied it for easy restore, but can't find the time to run some tests on it.
But, I just noticed that Jan Kara fixed a udf directory corruption problem in 2.6.38-rc1: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=4651c5900e7a3c84d4b70412f8bbc40c1bcb50cf Just logging that here, to remember me to test that change when I finally get a reproducable way to trigger my problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684273 Title: signs of udf filesystem corruption after adding a bunch of files -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
