Since this was filed prior to the 0.8 releases, there has been redesigns
of the interface (including a port to indicators for Natty), I'll close
this as "Opinion".
Note that some aspects have already been covered and addressed, for
instance:
The two extra wireless functions:
* connect to hidden wireless network
* create new wireless network
Have been moved directly under wireless devices.
Others are valid points but that can't be easily implemented: there is
for now no widgets available to implement connect/disconnect buttons as
described, and not meaningful way to converge multiple mobile devices
into one small list, especially when they all could connect to different
providers.
