Binary package hint: hwdb-client
Version: 0.6.9 (on feisty beta)
Steps to reproduce:
1 Start hwdb-gui (Applications -> System Tools -> Ubuntu Device Database)
2 Click help
3 Click "Getting Started" section
4 Follow instructions under section "2.2.2. From Device Manager" where it says
"Choose System → Administration → Device Manager"
5 Look under System -> Preferences and still not find "Device Manager"
6 Start looking through all the menu options for "Device Manager"
7 Get confused
8 Give up
9 Tell people ubuntu sucks ;)
Solution:
Change "Choose System → Administration → Device Manager" to "Choose System →
Preferences → Hardware Information" and avoid everything from step 5 onwards -
especially 8 and 9 :)
OT: Although I like the new menu item name, I think it should be under
Administration.
