Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

Hi,
restricted-manager suggested installing the ATI drivers, however after reboot X
was non-functioning. It appears the my ATI Rage 128 card is not supported by
the xorg-driver-fglrx driver.

Fix was to run 'dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg' on the console, select
the ATI (from Xorg, not fglrx) driver and then restart X.

If my analysis is correct the restricted-manager should not identify the
Rage 128 as requiring/supporting fglrx.

xorg.conf, Xorg.log and lspci outputs attached.

Cheers,
Simon.
