(k)networkmanager (wlan0) stopped working for me when I upgraded to feisty. It seems to be a kernel related issue since everything works fine when I boot the feisty system with the 2.6.17 edgy kernel.
I'm using a Fritz USB Wlan device with ndiswrapper (which I recompiled for the 2.6.20 kernel). When starting the feisty 2.6.20 kernel, the knetworkmanager applet does recognize the SSID (so I guess that the low level hardware driver works fine) and tries to connect (rotating gear), but fails after about 30s. I can supply the daemon.log for both succeeding (kernel 2.6.17) and failing (kernel 2.6.20) connection attempts if that helps. -- [feisty] Network Manager peculiar issue - No network connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103584 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
