I have the same problem as Joseph. I'm on wired network (successfully connected, tested with ping and with browser) but nm-applet says "no network connection" and shows "no network" icon. The wired connection itself is set up by network-manager as you can see in attached snippet of /var/log/syslog.
/etc/network/interfaces: # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system # and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5). # The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback If you need any more information, logs or anything else that will help you resolve this bug, just let me know! Thanks. ** Attachment added: "syslog snippet" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7298499/syslog.part -- Network-Manager-Applet 0.6.4 shows "no network connection" but I have one https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/90728 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
