You have been subscribed to a public security bug by Marc Deslauriers

Just a quick one...
Set up a new account, select "dont ask for password on login", log in,
lock the screen...
You're prompted with a password dialogue, to get around just click
"switch user", select the currently logged in user, and you're in.
Probably more of a usability issue that could be ironed out with closer
screensaver/gdm integration.
