Dear all, I activate again this tracker because I got a wrong behavior of a BC-5500A on a Sony VAIO VGN-FW11L with Ubuntu 10.10.
Indeed this player is not able at all to initate any reading of Blu-Ray. I mean that nothing starts when introducing a Blu Ray inside the drive, nothing mounts or appears on the Desktop whereas the disk turns and some sound of initating step starts but ends quickly withput results (Note that it perfectly works for CD and DVD) It is nothing about Blu ray video decoding or this kind of stuff but only bad Blu Ray functions recognition I think. DId anybody manage to get this player work for Blu Ray ?
