Private security bug reported:

Binary package hint: binutils

this causes a build failure in libnice, the internal test-symbols.sh
script expects the symbols mark as symbol type T, not D.

$ nm --print-file-name --defined-only --extern-only nice/.libs/libnice.so|head
nice/.libs/libnice.so:0000000000044130 D nice_address_copy_to_sockaddr
nice/.libs/libnice.so:0000000000044178 D nice_address_dup
nice/.libs/libnice.so:0000000000044160 D nice_address_equal
nice/.libs/libnice.so:0000000000044190 D nice_address_free

is this expected?
