@ dastillero - I can confirm that upgrading alsa does seem to solve the bug and keeps the messages. However upon kernel update and certain system updates it will overwrite the Alsa and you would need to upgrade and configure the alsa again. I even tried to lock the alsa packages but somehow they still get overwritten.
