Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

When I start Bashee (either with synapse or from the indicator-sound
menu), it starts muted and the controls do not appear under the
indicator-sound. When Banshee is started and I click on Banshee from the
indicator-sound, it starts another instance of Banshee which is also
muted. The little < mark that usually appear on the left from Banshee in
indicator-sound when it is started is not there.

Rhythmbox works as expected.

I tried to reboot, because I has the computer without reboot for a log
time, but did not solve the issue.

Any idea how to make Banshee play music again?
