Well, it is working now. I suppose it was something conected to banshee upgrade.
I got it working again this way: I started Banshee, went to Preferences, general tab. Unchecked Sound menu integration (or how it was called) I restarted Banshee. When I looked again to the General tab in preferences dialog, the options there have changed already, the option I have unchecked was not there anymore, but Banshee started to play music again.. I suppose it had something to do with some of the upgrades...
