Public bug reported:
Currently when one installs libdvdread3,and runs sudo
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh they are greeted with the fact
they need to install fackroot, and debhelper. After installing these two
items, an re-running the command you are then greeted with another error
to which the only fix is to install build-essential. after doing so,and
once again re-running the command script runs fine the program is built.
The problem however is that build-essential is not listed a dependency
for this program, and on top of that under dapper as well as edgy all
the user had to do was run the command above, and there was no need for
fakeroot/debhelper/build-essential.
So why the need for build-essential fakeroot debhelper all of sudden?
Also If build-essential is needed in order for user to install this one
program then it should be made known dependency.
