I have unmuted everything to no avail. I also noticed a weird thing I also have
Windows 7 and I installed Ubuntu in a VMware player to see that It recognizes
my device! A odd thing though is the volume is a little quiet but I consider
this a step in the right direction.
It also gives me options to choose which connector I want to use.
also instead of saying the default (don't remember what it actually says), it
says ES1371 [AudioPCI-97]Analog Stereo.
My guess, and perhaps I'm wrong but since Windows has already recognized my
device, Ubuntu can use it. I just wonder how we can force Ubuntu to recognize
the device.
