I think we shouldn't ask users to search for Unity 2D themselves if they
need it. Although a selection of the users might understand it, others
will be confused and put off. We should instead offer the option of
installing Unity 2D when no 3D support is detected.

However, as far as I'm aware, Unity 2D is not expected to be stable
enough for the 11.04 release, and it will only be used as the default
fallback in 11.10. That is another argument in favour of hiding it in
the Software Centre. We shouldn't expose something that isn't considered
stable in the 'app store', especially when it is not an 'app'.
