Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: aptdaemon

Application: Ubuntu Software Center
Package: software-center ver 3.1.20
Application/package details: Skype. ´Available from the "maverick-partnet"
source'; [Use this source]
While: installing Skype, from the list of applications.
Produce: 1- Dialog wit Error (small dialog, only forbidden sign, no text; A
second after, another dialog with the 'System program problem detected...';
another dialog ' Sorry, the program "aptd" closed unexpectedly... [Report
Problem];

Obs: Not sure if Skype is there due to the upgrade (Maverick >> Natty)
I know it might be possible installing the package by compiling it or directly
from its site. I only wonder if users who did the upgrade will get the same
issue and start ...complaining...

(system is update-manager -d && apt-get update && ...t upgrade && ...
dist-upgrade && ... autoremove, ...autoclean, ...clean.)
