Public bug reported: Binary package hint: guake
There is no Application Indicator icon showing up for Quake in 11.04, and since 11.04 is missing the notification icons from the top bar, and all we have left is the Application Indicators to show stuff... so it would be great to get this functionality. I did some searching and there is apparently a fix for it (see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/guake/+bug/518515 ), but it must not have made it it 11.04. valorin@gandalf:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu Natty (development branch) Release: 11.04 valorin@gandalf:~$ sudo apt-cache policy guake guake: Installed: 0.4.2-4ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.4.2-4ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.4.2-4ubuntu1 0 500 http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/ubuntu/ubuntu/ natty/universe i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status valorin@gandalf:~$ If you need more information, or want me to test something, let me know. ** Affects: guake (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/725804 Title: No Application Indicator in 11.04 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
