You are right, that was not a bug, sorry that I did not describe the problem clearly, but was caused by a software installation and finally I was able to resolve the problem.
I Appreciate and thank you for all your efforts, and response, I love ubuntu 10.10, but since I am unable to do what I want done on ubuntu I switched back to 'windows' watching and waiting for ubuntu to come up with some practical solutions and improvements, presenting an operating system that is most effective, beautiful and efficient to meet the needs of the entire IT world. I wish ubuntu great success in all their efforts and rendering of selfless service to the communities of the globe to that end, that will make life less burdensome among needy communities.
