Thanks for reporting this issue. I confirm that apt-get remove does ask
for confirmation. However, I think this behaviour is wanted here, as
removing will potentially break a working system. For example, a web
server administrator that wants to removes the unneeded apache2-docs on
a system and mistakenly types 'apt-get remove apache2 docs'. With the
confirmation in place, it is less likely that the service will be
interrupted. I will set this bug to incomplete and see if there are more
comments on the issue.
