Public bug reported:

When I try to start the default network in kvm, I get told a package is
not installed.

LIBVIRT_DEBUG=1 libvirtd results in the following error:
14:58:08.218: error : networkStartNetworkDaemon:1106 : cannot create bridge
'virbr0': Package not installed
libvir: Network Config error : cannot create bridge 'virbr0': Package not
installed

It also appears that bridge/bridge.ko modules are now missing from my
kernel:

Linux acestop 2.6.35-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 21 17:40:44 UTC
2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux

root@acestop:~# ls /lib/modules/2.6.35-25-generic/kernel/net/bridge [current
kernel]
ls: cannot access /lib/modules/2.6.35-25-generic/kernel/net/bridge: No such
file or directory
root@acestop:~# ls /lib/modules/2.6.35-24-generic/kernel/net/bridge [old kernel]
bridge.ko netfilter

At any rate, the result is that I can't create bridges and I can't use
kvm anymore.
