Ok, I have resolved this issue myself, and here's how I did it: I was having a problem with Windows XP after rebooting the server. It turns out that I could not have a CD-ROM device connected to the KVM with nothing mounted. That is to say: the system would not boot if there was nothing in the physical CD-ROM, and yet the KVM was connected to the physical device.
The way to fix this is: Go to the device configuration screen, and disconnect the CD-ROM. This may only work for a couple people in here, but I feel bad posting "nm, fixed it" and not telling how. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/581934 Title: libvirtError: monitor socket did not show up.: Connection refused -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
