** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: casper

apt-cdrom doesnt' seem to add packages shipped on live media when
starting up from a live USB disk. It works fine when booting from a dvd
  disc though.

This worked fine in maverick, it's used to install packages in the live
environment for live LTSP on Edubuntu. It is also required for the
installation of optional extras during installation.
+
+ On some systems that install additional packages from the disk, users
+ might be presented with a "Change CD" message.
