NoOp, thank you for quickly responding to my questions. However, this bug is being closed because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Natty Narwhal. As well, this bug issue does not fit the requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information.

Install LibreOffice following these instructions will effectively remove OpenOffice.org." To suggest that a user install libreoffice from that ppa to test an OpenOffice package is not (IMO) advisable - at all. There are numerous examples on Launchpad where a OOo bug was resolved by upgrading to the LO PPA, (there are also examples where the same problem is present in both builds). Despite this, if your sole point is that because OOo and LibreOffice do not co-exist (and/or that LO PPA is a PPA), then someone should not test LO to see if their OOo issue is resolved, that is a weak argument at best. If you have a real technical argument feel free to E-Mail me directly or direct it to IRC #ubuntu- bugs. ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/618024 Title: [(U)OOo 3.2.1 Generated PDF-Files cannot be printed with Adobe Reader -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
