I have reported this packaging bug upstream at Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=616178
The problem is where the installation of prelude-lml, tries to start the prelude-lml daemon. The starting of the prelude daemon is not possible because a profile is required to run. I understand it is possible to create a profile as a workaround, using the following command: sudo prelude-admin register "prelude-lml" "idmef:w" 127.0.0.1 --uid 0 --gid 0 You can then continue your installation without problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584435 Title: package prelude-lml 0.9.15-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
