I am having same scary failure. I cannot say that .13 is working for
me. For some reason I only have 12 and 14. Last night I did update and
upon boot this morning .14 would not boot. (I get to a thin orange line
in the ubuntu boot progress screen.)
If I go into .14 recovery, the boot hangs around...
[9.136000] ochi1394: fwhost0: OCHI-1394 1.1 (PCI):IRQ=[11] MMIO..........
If I wait long enough busybox comes up after saying something like
dropping to a shell!
There is more but I believe this is the same error as commented on
above.
What can I do to give you more information about this please?
