could you please retry with feisty (ubuntu 7.04)?
the issue is that wpasupplicant doesn't work for you on prism54. this is
most probably not a bug in wpa_supplicant, but in the kernel (prism54
driver). In order to find out what the actual problem is, please do the
following steps:
1. upgrade to latest feisty
2. create a file /etc/wpasupplicant/wpasupplicant.conf with the following
contents (replace deadbeefdeadbeef with your wep key):
network={
ssid="mathome1"
key_mgmt=NONE
wep_key0=deadbeefdeadbeef
}
3. start wpasupplicant like this (replace eth1 with your wifi
interface):
sudo wpasupplicant -Dwext -i eth1 -dd | tee /tmp/wpasupplicant.log
please attach the resulting file /tmp/wpasupplicant.log to this bug
