** Description changed: I use HP Compaq business desktop DX6100. I was able to connect through my wireless internet CDMA USB device in 10.04 LTS Lucid. But after in Ubuntu 11.04 natty it is not working, although device is working fine in my other Win7 machine. I have done all configuration right. Same problem experienced in 10.10 Maverick and I also fille a bug report, but unfortunately, this problem inherited in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty. All the configuration required such as dial up properties and other network information is correctly filled, but still not able to connect. I have ran System Testing, and output of this is attached as different files compressed in to one Zip archive. thanks... + --- + AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.23. + Architecture: i386 + ArecordDevices: + **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** + card 0: AudioPCI [Ensoniq AudioPCI], device 0: ES1371/1 [ES1371 DAC2/ADC] + Subdevices: 1/1 + Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 + AudioDevicesInUse: + USER PID ACCESS COMMAND + /dev/snd/controlC0: hit 1110 F.... pulseaudio + BugPatternURL: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/452814 + CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + Card0.Amixer.info: + Card hw:0 'AudioPCI'/'Ensoniq AudioPCI ENS1371 at 0x2080, irq 16' + Mixer name : 'Cirrus Logic CS4297A rev 3' + Components : 'AC97a:43525913' + Controls : 24 + Simple ctrls : 13 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 + HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=b8918813-7047-4ae4-af79-f2854134aad5 + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha i386 (20110202) + IwConfig: + lo no wireless extensions. + + eth0 no wireless extensions. + + ppp0 no wireless extensions. + Lsusb: + Bus 002 Device 003: ID 05c6:3197 Qualcomm, Inc.
