Well i was hoping that something was broken with Ubuntu causing my network issues. I'm not sure how to determine if it is a win modem, i think i will call att today/tomorrow on this issue. With any luck i should be of more help. oh when trying to install or even running it is live mode no internet and didnt get any closer to cause since i first saw it, however the problem started after i replaced my modem since i changed my plan slightly(faster modem) on saterday i replaced modem.
If there is a way to detect if it is a win modem please let me know.
