Christopher, Could you please tell me how did the problem got solved on OOo?
If someone is using OOo in Ubuntu (has not changed to LibreOffice) and does not realize this bug he will get wrong results. Not a nice situation if s/he is e.g. an accountant and ends up paying, say tens of thousands of €/$ due to this bug.
