Kernel/HAL? does not recognize Synaptics Touchpad device on DELL
Precision M4500. Symptom is absence of 'Touchpad' Tab is not there in
System>Preferences>Mouse. Tested using both curet Maverick kernel
2.6.35-27 and latest mainline kernel
2.6.38-999-generic_2.6.38-999.201103021445_amd64
tpconfig reports device as:
