The best solution would be to have IBM correct Lotus Notes. If it fails I thinks that we should revert those two lines of code for Ubuntu - the gtk-guys does not seem fond of that since it is an optimization. Problably it really is Lotus Notes behaving bad, but the fact that it breaks the guid should rule over correctness in this case I think. What do you think?
